Parks in Shanghai
There are currently
136 parks in Shanghai, 70 percent of them free.
Except for 16 parks ( classic
parks such as the Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Daguanyuan Garden, special
parks such as Shanghai Zoo and Shanghai Botanic Garden and parks
invested by companies such as the Century Park) all parks
will be free this year.
Shanghai will establish 2,100
hectares of new green space this year, up 200 hectares from the
previous year, with 1,000 hectares of them public green space, enabling
the city's public green spaces to reach 11 square meters per capita, up
one square meter from last year.
Amusement parks
Some of the major amusement
parks in Shanghai are Fun Dazzle, Aquaria 21 and Shanghai Jin Jiang
Amusement Park. The Shanghai Amusement Parks feature a wide array of
rides like roller coasters, water shoot and revolving carousel. Some of
the amusement parks in Shanghai also boast of boating facilities,
swimming pools and facilities for other water sports. Some of the
Shanghai amusement parks also issue passes that will enable you to
access the different rides and other facilities of the parks at
discounted and reduced rates.
